Come aboard if you dare! The USS Nightmare, America’s premier haunted steamboat, returns to the Newport, Kentucky waterfront this fall for its 19th haunting season. Built on a real working steamboat, the USS Nightmare houses the river’s most notorious spirits. Step on board and step back in time to witness firsthand why the William S. Mitchell’s crew~ those lucky enough to survive~ called the old boat the “Death Dredge.” The 2010 experience brings new twists and turns to the tour of the historic dredge with 30 minutes of bone-chilling fright as visitors meander through eerie rooms and corridors never before open to the public. But beware… the Dredge’s ghastly inhabitants are anxiously waiting. Returning this year are many of our visitors’ favorite characters such as the Captain, the Ship’s Doctor, and others. Discover for yourself why the USS Nightmare is Greater Cincinnati’s favorite haunted attraction.

Also returning is the USS Nightmare’s Family Fun Center featuring a concessions area, arcade room, and LASER RAGE~ the area’s only floating laser tag arena! Be sure to visit the Family Fun Center to add extra excitement to a spook-tacular night of seasonal entertainment for the whole family!

A favorite group Halloween event, the Mess Hall is once again available for private parties of 20 people or more. It is the perfect place for Halloween parties, birthday parties or any social gathering. What better way to celebrate this season than on a real haunted steamboat.
